Coral View Island Resort is a tropical island idyll on Pulau Perhentian Besar, one of the Perhentian Islands located 21KM off the North East coast of Peninsula Malaysia. Location is very strategic, near the beautiful beach of Teluk Pauh, which to our guest is the best beach on the island. The chalets are cleverly built between natural vegetation and blends well with the surroundings. There is a good patch of coral garden right in front of the resort.

Development here is still generally low-key with most accommodation consisting of low-rise chalets and bungalows. The island therefore retains much of their original forest cover and within the resort itself it is possible to see monitor lizards, spectacled languor monkeys and flying squirrels.

The surrounding crystal clear waters of the South China Sea are home to an abundance of coral and marine life including green and hawksbill turtles, moray ells, beaches combined with a very relaxed atmosphere make this a mecca for scuba divers, snorkellers and those just wanting somewhere "to get away from it all".

The restaurants cater for ala-carte meals as well as packaged meals for groups. The month of April to August is super high season and booking has to be made well in advance.

Sri Tanjung Restaurant

Affording guests breathtaking views of the ocean, this outlet offers light lunches and snacks, and a variety of refreshing beverages throughout the day for those enjoying the pool and sundeck. An ala carte menu featuring East meets West dishes is available daily for dinner. After-dinner drinks can be enjoyed while listening to music by the resident band.
